DigiCamReview have reviewed the Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ5, a 9 megapixel update of Panasonic’s best-selling camera ever, the TZ3.
The camera is compact considering the 10x optical zoom, and the stylish metal body is available in a number of colours. The camera feels very well built, with pleasing switches, and is fairly comfortable to hold. It features things you may not need such as face detection, intelligent Auto, but it turns out that these can be useful features. The camera has a great 3 ??? screen that works well even in the sun. The camera is easy to use, thanks to numerous scene modes, and clever auto modes, and provides quick access to the most commonly used options. The layout of buttons and controls is very good.
This creature model for Poser 3 and 4 includes six fully pose-able arms and hands, eight facial morphs, texture template, and optional articulate tongue and mouth slime. Compatible with walk designer.

CameraLabs have reviewed the new Nikon D700, the second full-frame, FX-series DSLR camera from Nikon.
The image quality is excellent as you’d expect, matching the D3’s high sensitivity performance. Switch the D700 to its highest sensitivity and you’ll see noise speckles like any other camera, but you have to remind yourself this is now operating at a whopping 25600 ISO. Turn the D700 down to 1600 or even 3200 ISO, a point where most DSLRs are still delivering noisy or smeared images’ and you’ll be greeted by remarkably clean and usable results. It really is an amazing experience to confidently shoot at such high ISOs knowing the result won’t be compromised.
The-Digital-Picture have reviewed the new Sigma APO 50-150mm F2.8 II EX DC HSM lens.
The Sigma 50-150mm f/2.8 II EX DC HSM Lens is a very attractive combination of focal length range, wide aperture and size/weight. Unfortunately, focus calibration issues appear to be prevalent in this lens. All three purchased-retail-new copies of this lens I tried strongly front-focused on both my Canon EOS Rebel XSi / 450D and Canon EOS 40D DSLRs. All three focused consistently, but all focused well in front of the subject.
The Photoshop-compatible plugin is designed to speed the process of integrating multiple photos within a single image.
Adding a copied object to an existing photo or illustration in an image editing application is simple enough, but to have the object integrate convincingly with the base image typically requires a significant amount of time and technical expertise. Chameleon attempts to perform this integration automatically, by adjusting the copied object’s overall color range to match the background, as well as smoothing its edges.
Three modes of collage creation are provided, with the Montage mode attempting to create a seamless photo montage by transferring selected objects to a new background and removing the unneeded parts of the pasted image, which retains its color range and opacity. In Chameleon mode the plugin adjusts the pasted fragment to the target image color range and smoothes the object’s borders. Finally, in Blend Mode the plugin smooths the borders of the inserted object, adjusts its color range and also makes it semi-transparent.
New in version 6.0 of Chameleon is Emersion mode, which differs from the other modes in that the pasted image fragment does not overlay the background, but instead is embedded into it, such that only certain parts of the fragment are visible. AKVIS indicates this mode is appropriate for use with difficult subjects, such as trees or graffiti. The new version also provides better compatibility with Adobe Photoshop Elements 6 and Vista.AKVIS Chameleon 6.0 for Mac and Windows Photoshop-compatible applications, can be purchased for $75 from the AKVIS site. .
